Yesterday was a big opening of the group show Best of Graduates 2019 at the @galerieronmandos 

22 BEST Graduates of 2019 were chosen from all the art academies in The Netherlands. ⠀
To say that I was happy would be same as to say nothing! Excitement mixed with nervousness almost took over. ⠀

As a result:

-sold paintings
-maintain old connections
-new connections were made
-priceless experience ⠀ ⠀
Soon I will announce a next expo and now I will take some rest before tomorrow!

I was inspired by the philosophy of boxing: 'In front of the canvas, thinking about the mess of the paint I will make in a moment, I always imagine a boxing ring.
I see my opponent and I start to act. All the gestures in my paintings are hits, punches that I throw during my fight. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, painting is always a great fight, but also a great meditation. When I work in my studio, materiality transforms into spirituality. ⠀
